Grilled Tandoori Chicken

We've been meaning to have this dinner for a while.

Grilled Tandoori Chicken

1 cup plain yogurt
1 tbsp fresh ginger
2 tsp minced garlic
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp ground cloves

1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts

Combine the marinade ingredients in a small bowl. Place chicken in in a plastic bag and add marinade. Place in refrigerator for 6-8 hours.

Remove chicken from marinade, discard. Remove excess marinade from chicken. Grill for 10-15 minutes, turning halfway through. Let chicken rest about 5 minutes, then serve.

Thanks for posting this! Often times I will buy a spice mix to make tandoori chicken out of convenience... but its nice to have an actual recipe!
